Study day health information and policy

The Health information service of Sciensano has the pleasure to invite you to their study day “Health information and policy — How can health data and local policy interact successfully?”. The study day takes place on Thursday 23 November 2023 from 9h30 to 15h30 at the Belgian Royal Library in Brussels.

The central topic of the study day is the collection and analysis of health data and the valorisation of health information in local policy-making. Read more

Price : Free, but registration is mandatory by November 20th

In the morning, there will be an interactive workshops on the production, analysis and availability of health data at local level. In the afternoon, presentations on the use of health information and its implementation in local policies are scheduled. Experts in the fields share their knowledge and experience and reflect on bottlenecks and opportunities regarding the interaction between health information and policy-making. For the key presentation in the afternoon, Brussels’ minister for Mobility, Public Works and Road Safety, Elke Van den Brandt has been invited. Other topics on the agenda include the Local Health Interview Survey of Sciensano, the IMA Atlas, and the valorisation of health information by the Hainaut Health Observatory and by the City of Antwerp. The  study day will conclude by a panel discussion in which the input of the attendees is central.
